Justin is the head of Del Amitri. He founded the band back in 1981, when he was a youth. That's the reason why the old songs are so unfamiliar when you hear them the first time - Justin went through puberty :-)

He's from Glasgow, Scotland, so it's no wonder that many songs are about this town...

He wrote one half of all the lyrics by himself, the other half with Iain Harvie.

It's really interesting to see how the band evolved. On their first album, "Del Amitri", they don't got their melodic-acustically style they have nowadays. All songs were mainly sung poems, wonderfully arranged to an album of superb quality.
